Special Focus: The reality of Reshoring for SMEs
There have been media reports that production is being brought back to the UK, but are SMEs really feeling the benefit?
This quarter, we explore how current supply chain disruption and cost challenges are impacting potential opportunities,  and what support would be most beneficial to help UK manufacturing prosper and grow.

The data has now been analysed, and we are pleased to share this quarter's findings...

 Almost all respondents said supply chain price changes (98%), inflation (96%), and energy costs (94%) are negatively impacting their business...

 A quarter said their orders have increased as a result of production being brought back to the UK, but 22% of these businesses are unable to meet this demand due to the following challenges...

 These are the leading areas of support that SME manufacturers are calling for to help them make the most of opportunities from reshoring and/or support future business growth...

Manufacturing has an exciting role to play in boosting the UK economy, but it is vital that firms get the support they are requesting to meet customer demand!
