This 'Introduction to Hinkley' event is essential for those companies across South Wales, West of England, Somerset and Devon who are keen to find out more about potential Hinkley Point C opportunities, and whether their businesses are a good fit.
You will gain a basic introduction to supplying and working at Hinkley Point C during the construction phase. The agenda will include:
- HPC Site Update
- Project Timeline
- How to make the most of your Portal Registration
- Preparing yourself and/or your business for HPC
The event is delivered by the Hinkley Supply Chain Programme, led by SWMAS in collaboration with Somerset Chamber of Commerce and Business West. The programme is funded by the Heart of the South West LEP, West of England LEP and the Welsh Government to provide business assistance to South West and South Wales based companies with the aim of helping them find opportunities within the HPC project.
This event is fully funded for SME (small/medium enterprise) companies based in Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, and South Wales. If you fit this criteria, please select HSCP Funded Ticket and there will be no charge to attend (subject to completion of SME and De Minimis Declarations to confirm eligibility). Maximum of two attendees per company, one ticket required per delegate.
If you are an LE (large enterprise) or based outside of the above specified areas, there will be a charge of £125 to attend this event, which covers two delegates. Please select Non Funded Ticket and confirm the name, position, and email address of each attending delegate when you book on.
