Keen to supply the Hinkley Point C project, but unsure how to manage this alongside existing commitments?
This fully funded* workshop, delivered by Exelin (part of the Professional Services Group for HPC) is aimed at senior managers who would like to gain an understanding of basic project management to help them successfully integrate HPC with existing obligations:
- Outline the key principles of project management
- Identify the stages of planning and implementing a successful project
- Definie the roles and responsibilities within a project team
- Explore ways to highlight and address the project management gaps within your business
You will also learn effective ways of implementing best practice project management within your organisation, and increase your understanding of the key principles required to support the success of future projects.
The event is delivered by the Hinkley Supply Chain Programme, led by SWMAS in collaboration with Somerset Chamber of Commerce and Business West. The programme is funded by the Heart of the South West LEP, West of England LEP and the Welsh Government to provide business assistance to South West and South Wales based companies with the aim of helping them find opportunities within the HPC project.
Places are limited to one delegate per company and offered on a first come, first served basis.
This workshop is fully funded for SME (small/medium enterprise) companies based in Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, and South Wales. If you fit this criteria, please select HSCP Funded Ticket and there will be no charge to attend (subject to completion of SME and De Minimis Declarations to confirm eligibility).
If you are an LE (large enterprise) or based outside of the above specified areas, there will be a charge of £125 to attend this event - please select Non Funded Ticket to book your place.
