Keen to collaborate with your fellow Somerset manufacturers for operational and commercial benefit? Want to shape how the collaboration could be delivered to ensure you benefit? Join these Somerset manufacturers who think it's a great idea and want to explore how best to put a framework in place.
Manufacturers from across Somerset agreed unanimously at the last meeting of the Somerset Manufacturers Group that collaboration between SMG members and with other manufacturers in the county is a very welcome prospect. Those at the last meeting, generously hosted by TMB Patterns in Bridgwater, included Leonardo, Kingspan, Somerlap, Isedio, Musmate, Frocester and TMB Patterns.
This meeting on 17th September looks to build on this consensus of opinion and consider what the framework around which the collaboration could work for all involved could look like, identify any support required and plans for making it happen.
To aid the discussion, we will be joined by Nick Golding, SWMAS’ Supply Chain Director. Nick was responsible for enabling the collaboration of UK SMEs in the defence supply chain, allowing them to respond to customer requirements together. Nick will share details of the collaboration programme, which guided the participants through:
- Determining the extent of the collaboration
- Planning (including capacity and skill requirements)
- Partnering (including financial resources, capability, organisational culture, performance levels)
Don't miss out on this chance to ensure this collaboration works for you and your business (and enjoy a breakfast bacon sandwich and a cuppa in the process).
