Peer Networks is a national peer-to-peer networking programme for SME leaders who want to grow and develop their organisation for future success.
The Peer Networks programme has been designed to help you collaboratively work through common business issues, offering you an interactive platform to:
- Discuss your own challenges
- Gain and reflect on valuable feedback
- Implement practical solutions to overcome them
Our expert facilitators give you the flexibility to create a trusted support network that works for you, helping you to build and strengthen your business and improve its overall performance.
Between July 2021 and February 2022, SWMAS will be delivering two options within the Peer Networks Programme; one with a focus on Manufacturing, and the other aimed at businesses who are interested in supplying the Nuclear Market.
Peer Networks is delivered through a series of high impact group sessions covering flexible topics which can be shaped by participants.
Each sector's cohort is led by a trained facilitator with expert industry knowledge and is small enough to enable meaningful participation from all. As part of this programme, individual one-to-one support will also be provided, aligned to the specific business needs you have identified.
The programme is available to SME manufacturing businesses based in Devon and Somerset* who meet the following criteria:
- Operated for at least one year
- At least five employees
- A turnover of at least £100,000
- Have not already participated in any alternative Peer Networks Programmes
Ideally, participants should also have the potential to scale up, and/or the ability to export.
When presented with external challenges and opportunities, many businesses prefer to take advice from trusted sources, such as their peers. With this in mind, Peer Networks enables you to make connections that
go far beyond networking.
Completing Peer Networks will help you to:
- Overcome business challenges
- Recognise and act on new opportunities
- Build a trusted network of connections to support you now and in the future
- Improve your long-term personal and business performance
