Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (2007-2013) Competitiveness and Convergence Programmes, the Product Development Centre provides SME manufacturing companies across the South West of England with a dedicated service to support innovation.
Marine Growth Programme
The Marine Growth Programme formed a key part of the Plymouth and South West Peninsula City Deal between January 2014 and February 2015. The £363k project utilised £242k of City Deal funding to blend marine sector knowledge with learning from beyond the sector.

Celebrating LMAP & HVMIP success
Between April 2016 and September 2019, SWMAS delivered two very successful ERDF funded programmes. Working closely with the region’s 6 LEPs & Growth Hubs we provided tailored advice, support and investment to nearly 900 SME manufacturers.
