Devon Metalworking Service Refocuses For Growth
Recent figures from an EEF survey, show that manufacturers feel they are close to the bottom of the downturn cycle and although trading conditions remain tough, they expect growth to return in 2010.
This is definitely the case for Alderman Tooling, which is taking advantage of the government’s manufacturing trouble-shooters, the MAS, to help it implement a strategy and plan for growth in preparation for the challenging year ahead.

Cornish Engineering firm shows its mettle with help from MAS
Penryn-based specialist engineers, Metal Surgery, near Falmouth, have enjoyed huge improvements to efficiency, a 20 per cent reduction in overhead costs and a 30 per cent increase in new business, thanks to the specialist advice and support from the Manufacturing Advisory Service in the South West (MAS-SW).
