Our team of manufacturing specialists has successfully delivered the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) across the South West since 2002. We have helped over 2,500 manufacturing and engineering businesses to plan their long term business strategy, improve production processes and bring new products to market and develop their supply chains.

In December 2014 MAS became part of the Business Growth Service, a government-backed programme to access support for exporting, accessing finance, building leadership & management skills and much more. The service has consistently been well received with 97% of MAS customers being satisfied with the service they received. 

As part of the November 2015 Spending Review settlement, the government has decided to wind down the national delivery of the Business Growth Service (incorporating GrowthAccelerator and the Manufacturing Advisory Service). On 26th November 2015 the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) issued a formal instruction to providers of the Business Growth Service:
•Not to enter into any further contractual commitments with customers after 23:59 Monday 30 November;
•That all contractual commitments should be honoured, as long as all support and related activity is completed by 31 March 2016.

We will continue to operate MAS, part of the Business Growth Service, for all customers with outstanding contractual commitments up to 31 March 2016.
