Nigel Jones

Manufacturing Specialist

A former electronics graduate from the University of Brighton, Nigel is a veteran of the electronics sector, and brings with him more than 20 years’ experience working around the world for companies ranging from oilfield services supplier Schlumberger to automatic test equipment provider, Teradyne.

More recently, he was the business improvement manager at Matt Black Systems in Poole(formally James Wilson), an independent specialist in the design and manufacture of man-machine interfaces for land, sea and air applications.

He has a proven background in Programme Management and also the creation, implementation and training of effective and sustainable business management systems and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Outside of work, Nigel, who is based near Ringwood, is a keen motorcyclist, and often spends weekends as a senior trainer for his local Advanced Motorcycling Group.
